OC 80s OxyContin 80 mg Mundipharma
OC 80s OxyContin 80 mg Mundi pharma is used to treat severe pain requiring the use of a strong opioid. Adults over 18 years: OxyContin tablets should be taken at 12-hour intervals. OxyContin 80 mg is classified as a Schedule 2 controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA).
Generic name: oxycodone [ ox-i-KOE-done ]

What is the difference between OxyContin and oxycodone?
Before taking OC 80s OxyContin
You should not use OxyContin if you are allergic to oxycodone, or if you have:
- severe asthma or breathing problems; or
- a blockage in your stomach or intestines.
You should not use OxyContin unless you are already using a similar opioid medicine and are tolerant to it.
OxyContin should not be given to a child younger than 11 years old.
Common side effects may include:
- slow heart rate, weak pulse, fainting, slow breathing (breathing may stop);
- chest pain, fast or pounding heartbeats;
- a seizure, extreme drowsiness; or
- decreased adrenal gland hormones–nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, feeling tired or light-headed, muscle or joint pain, skin discoloration, craving salty foods.
- sleep problems (insomnia), itching;
- drowsiness, headache, dizziness, tiredness; or
- constipation, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting.
